Ladakh administration rejects Wangchuk's liquor shop claims as false

The Ladakh UT Administration called Sonam Wangchuk's claims about liquor shops being opened across Ladakh 'false, baseless and totally imaginary'. It stated only one liquor shop is currently operational in all of Ladakh. The administration said the new Excise Policy 2026-27 was already rolled back on August 26, 2026, after public feedback.
