Ladakh bans drones, UAVs in Leh amid India-Pak tensions

The Ladakh administration issued an order on Thursday imposing a ban on flying of drones or any unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Leh after it received "credible inputs...regarding the potential misuse of drones by anti-national elements". District Magistrate of Leh, IAS Santosh Sukhadeve, who issued the order, stated that "any violation...shall attract strict legal action under relevant laws".
