Ladakh incident face-off, not skirmish: EAM S Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said the recent incident between Indian and Chinese soldiers near the border in Ladakh wasn't a skirmish but a face-off. Stating it was resolved using bilateral mechanisms, Jaishankar added, "From time to time that's happened...because you have deferring perceptions of Line of Actual Control and patrols meet and sometimes, that kind of situation happens."
