Ladakh launches snow leopard safari in open vehicles

Ladakh has launched six safari vehicles with operations beginning in Rumbak, Shang and Uley — areas known for snow leopard sightings. Trained local drivers and wildlife guides will accompany visitors, while the vehicles will stick to designated routes in sensitive wildlife areas. The first safari circuit includes Rumbak, Shang and Uley. Rumbak is located near Hemis National Park.
