Ladakh's first medical college approved for 2027-28

Ladakh's first medical college in Leh will be operational from the 2027-28 academic year after the Union Health Ministry approved its operationalisation, LG Vinai Kumar Saxena announced. Health Minister JP Nadda granted a one-time relaxation allowing recruitment of 103 faculty and staff posts to begin immediately, even as infrastructure construction continues.
