Ladakh trips to get easier for foreigners; single permit planned

The Ladakh administration is currently exploring the idea of a single permit for foreign travellers to streamline entry procedures and make visiting easier for tourists. Not only that, but they are also considering setting up dedicated airport verification desks. The Union Territory may soon introduce a single Protected Area Permit for foreign tourists, except for specifically restricted areas.
