Lady Gaga's partner unveils tech that keeps skin alive without a body for weeks
Lady Gaga's partner Michael Polansky, co-founder and CEO of biotechnology startup Outer Biosciences, has launched Yuna, a platform that keeps human skin alive outside body for four weeks. It aims to help researchers predict how a treatment will affect human skin before human trials. The company uses live skin samples to study how cells respond to treatments, ageing and diseases.
