Lahore Qalandars caught tampering with ball on live TV, slapped with 5-run penalty

Shaheen Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars were caught tampering with the ball on live TV during their PSL 2026 match against Karachi Kings. Qalandars' Fakhar Zaman was seen scuffing the ball after being handed it by Haris Rauf before the last over. Umpires intervened and slapped a five-run penalty on Qalandars after checking the ball's condition. They also changed the ball.
