Lahore was originally allotted to India during partition

Sir Cyril Radcliffe, while drawing the border between India and Pakistan, first allotted Lahore to India, he had said in an interview. He allotted it to Pakistan after his assistant pointed out that Pakistan didn't have any large city. He also said, "the time at my disposal was so short that I could not do a better job".
