Lakhamandal in Uttarakhand: temple with links to Pandavas
One of the most mysterious Shiva temples is Lakhamandal, Uttarakhand. The temple has links to the Mahabharata. It's an ASI protected site. Lakhamandal means "a lakh Shiv lingas." Located at a distance of 125 km from Dehradun, the temple is estimated to have been built in the 12th-13th CE. The Shiv Lingas at Lakhamandal were worshipped by the Pandavas.
