Lakshya's coach Vimal Kumar defends BAI amid India Open criticism

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen's coach Vimal Kumar defended the Badminton Association of India (BAI) after the body faced criticism over cleanliness issues at the India Open 2026 venue. "When the stadium is handed to BAI, it should be given in top-class conditions," he said. Vimal added, "You can't hand over a dilapidated premises to an organiser and then blame them."
