Lakshya Sen beats World No 1 Yu Qi at All England Open Badminton

India's world number 12 Lakshya Sen defeated world number 1 and defending champion Shi Yu Qi of China 23-21, 19-21 and 21-17 in men's singles first round match at All England Open Badminton Championships 2026 on Tuesday. The 24-year-old has advanced to the Round of 16, where he will face Ng Ka Long Angus of Hong Kong, China.
