Lalbagh architect Krumbiegel’s tombstone damaged in Bengaluru

The tombstone of Gustav Krumbiegel, the renowned landscape architect associated with Lalbagh Botanical Garden, has been found severely damaged at a cemetery on Hosur Road in Bengaluru. Heritage group Heritage Beku has urged the police and Horticulture Department to investigate whether the damage was accidental, caused by natural deterioration or deliberate vandalism.
