Lamine Yamal becomes Spain's 2nd youngest goalscorer in FIFA WC history

Spain's forward Lamine Yamal scored his first-ever World Cup goal in 10th minute in FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Saudi Arabia. At 18 years and 343 days, he's become the second-youngest goalscorer for Spain at the FIFA World Cup. Yamal surpassed Lionel Messi, who was 18 years and 357 days old when he scored his first World Cup goal.
