Lance Naik Meenatchi who was shot in face awarded Kirti Chakra

Indian Army's Lance Naik Meenatchi Sundaram A was conferred the Kirti Chakra for his exceptional gallantry, unwavering courage, and distinguished service in the line of duty by President Droupadi Murmu. Meenatchi was shot in the face and right shoulder by a terrorist during an operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam. Despite his injuries, Meenatchi killed a terrorist during the operation.
