Landslide in Mumbai's Peddar Road affects traffic, water supply

Heavy rains in Mumbai led to a landslide in Peddar Road on Wednesday night, disrupting traffic movement and water supply in the area. A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation team was deployed to clear the debris and fallen trees while BMC Commissioner IS Chahal inspected the area. On Wednesday, Colaba recorded over 330 mm rain, the highest single-day rainfall in 46 years.
