Large flocks of flamingos spotted in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi

Large flocks of migratory flamingos were spotted at the salt pans of Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi, turning the region into a vibrant spectacle. The area serves as an important feeding and resting ground for flamingos that travel long distances each year. The salt pans, creeks and inland water bodies provide ideal habitats and feeding grounds for them, a senior researcher said.
