Large deposits of iron ore have been found in Hindaun in Karauli district of Rajasthan. According to preliminary indications, there are deposits of more than 840 tonnes and both magnetite and hematite iron ore have been found in the area, the state's Mines Secretary Anandhi said. These new deposits will create new opportunities for industrial development and employment, she added.
