Largest-ever adrenal tumour removed via robotic surgery at Delhi hospital

Doctors from Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital successfully removed a huge adrenal tumour, measuring 18.2 x 13.5 cms, from a 36-year-old woman using robotic surgery. This makes this adrenal tumour the largest ever to be removed robotically in a minimally invasive fashion, the hospital's Medical Superintendent said. The surgery was performed free of cost and the patient was discharged in three days.
