Largest retail sell-off in 6 months in September at ₹7,500 crore

Retail investors, who have been investing huge amounts of money in stocks in the recent past, turned net sellers in September 2024. Retail investors sold shares worth ₹7,500 crore during the month, marking the first such instance in six months. Meanwhile, domestic investors bought shares worth around ₹17,421 crore while foreign investors bought ₹55,855 crore worth of shares in September.
