Las Vegas casino owner hacked by 'BlackCat' via 10-min phone call

Scattered Spider, affiliate of ransomware group 'BlackCat', reportedly hacked Las Vegas casino owner MGM Resorts International. Research group vx-underground said Scattered Spider hacked MGM after finding its employee on LinkedIn and calling the help desk. A 10-minute phone call defeated a firm valued at $33,900,000,000, it added. The hacking group also hacked casino owner Caesars Entertainment.
