Lasith Malinga retires from all forms of cricket aged 38

Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga today announced his retirement from T20 cricket, thus ending his around 20-year playing career. Malinga had retired from Tests in 2011 and ODIs in 2019. In a video uploaded on YouTube, Malinga said, "While my shoes will rest...my love for the game will never rest." Malinga took 1,093 wickets in his professional career.
