Last ever Learjet to be built this year, 58 years after its entry into service

Canada's Bombardier is stopping the production of its iconic private aircraft Learjet later this year to focus on its more profitable business jet models, the Global and Challenger series. More than 3,000 Learjets have been sold since its entry into service in 1963. Bombardier, which acquired Learjet in 1990, delivered just 11 units to customers last year.
