Last-minute income tax return filers complain of glitches on tax portal

Several taxpayers filing their returns on the July 31 deadline took to social media to claim they encountered technical glitches on the income tax portal. "Portal remains inaccessible due to persistent loading issue," a CA posted on X. "Trying to download last year's ITR...it always shows 'Something went wrong'...Paying ₹4,200-crore for this portal to Infosys really went wrong," said another.
