Last rites held for 5 Guwahati hotel firing victims

The five victims of Monday's shooting at Hotel Bilas Inn in Guwahati were cremated at their native places in Assam's Barpeta and Baksa districts on Wednesday. The deceased include four members of the Bharali business family and a staffer. Accused leaseholder Ghanakanta Gogoi has been remanded to 7-day police custody. An SIT has been formed to probe the incident.
