Jet Airways on Tuesday said Ashok Chawla and Sharad Sharma, the last two directors on its board, have resigned. The independent directors quit due to the board's non-compliance with provisions of the Companies Act, non-appointment of additional directors and the halt in the process of bank-led resolution plan. Jet's lenders have moved NCLT to initiate insolvency proceedings against the airline.
