Late actor Sidney Poitier was ahead of everybody: Lee Grant

Actress Lee Grant paid tribute to late actor Sidney Poitier, who passed away on Friday aged 94. "Sidney was ahead of everybody. He broke the mould as an actor and...a Black actor," she stated. "He had such a sense of power within himself, and humour," she added. They worked together in the 1967 film 'In the Heat of the Night'.
