Late Ajit Pawar cleared in ₹25,000-cr MSCB scam as Mumbai court accepts closure report

Late NCP leader Ajit Pawar, his wife and Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar, and 70 others have been given a clean chit in the alleged ₹25,000-crore Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) scam. This comes as a Mumbai special court accepted the Economic Offences Wing's closure report, in which it found no criminal offence. Ajit was accused of fraudulent loan disbursal.
