Late PM Vajpayee's niece and Congress leader Karuna Shukla dies due to COVID-19

Late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's niece and senior Congress leader Karuna Shukla passed away due to coronavirus on Monday night at a hospital in Chhattisgarh. She was a part of BJP from 1982 to 2013 and was a one-time MP from Janjgir constituency. She joined Congress in 2014 ahead of that year's Lok Sabha polls.
