Latur man burnt alive inside car, body found stuffed in sack

The charred body of 35-year-old Ganesh Gopinath Chavan was found inside a burnt car on the Ausa–Vanwada Road in Maharashtra’s Latur district late Saturday night. Police suspected he was murdered, as Chavan was allegedly tied, stuffed into a sack, and placed inside the vehicle before it was set on fire. A post-mortem has been conducted and forensic examination is underway.
