Latvian PM resigns amid row over handling of Ukrainian drone incursion

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina on Thursday said she would resign from her post amid row over her government's handling of stray drone incursions from Ukraine. Silina was left without a ruling majority after the Progressives party withdrew its support from the coalition government. Earlier, Silina had dismissed former Defence Minister Andris Spruds over his handling of the drone incidents.
