Laundryman gets ₹598 cr tax notice in Ajmer after pan card misused

Income Tax Department has sent a notice seeking details of transactions worth over ₹598 crore allegedly linked to diamond trading from an Ajmer-based laundryman. Jitendra Kumar said he has no knowledge about the transaction and bank account cited in it. The notice relates to diamond dealings carried out using his PAN card, which he had lost nearly two years ago.
