Law-making can't be as per Naxalites: SG Tushar Mehta amid heated exchange over Vande Mataram in SC

During the hearing of musician TM Krishna's plea challenging the Centre's mandate to play Vande Mataram's six stanzas, Supreme Court witnessed a heated argument between Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and advocate S Muralidhar. "Law-making cannot be as per Naxalites' idea," Mehta said, following which Muralidhar told him to withdraw his remarks. "I'm not sorry about what I said," Mehta responded.
