Leading Indian-American researcher Rachna Shroff dies of disease she was trying to cure

Indian-American researcher Rachna Shroff, who was among the leading experts in pancreatic and biliary tract cancers, has passed away at the age of 47 from the same disease she was trying to cure. Shroff was diagnosed with terminal adenocarcinoma earlier this year. Before her death, she accomplished her goal of raising over $1.35 million to support future of cancer innovation.
