Wearable technology maker Leaf Wearables on Monday raised $250,000 in seed funding from a clutch of seasoned investors. Founded in February 2015 by Avinash Bansal, Ayush Banka, Chiraag Kapil, Manik Mehta and Paras Batra, the Delhi-based startup has made a smart safety wearable device for women named 'Safer', which sends notifications and signals to registered phone numbers in an emergency.
