Learner Tien becomes youngest American to reach US Open 4th round in 24 years

Twenty-year-old Learner Tien has become the youngest American player to reach the fourth round of the US Open in 24 years. He achieved the feat after defeating Czech tennis player Jakub Mensik 6-3, 1-6, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the third round. Tien matched Andy Roddick's record who was also 20 when he reached fourth round of US Open in 2002.
