Led by religious bigotry, Faizan's death a hate crime: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court said police investigation in 23-year-old Faizan's death was tardy, sketchy and "conveniently sparing" those suspected to be involved in the brutal assault while transferring the investigation to the CBI. During the 2020 Delhi riots, a viral video showed Faizan being beaten with lathis and forced to sing the national anthem.
