LeEco raises $1.08 bn to build electric sports car

Chinese technology company LeEco has raised $1.08 billion in its latest funding to make its first electric sports car. LeEco's Founder and CEO Yueting Jia claimed that the funding is the largest ever in the automotive industry to date. The company has already unveiled the LeSEE, a concept sedan design intended to be completely self-driving.
