Legendary director Michael Mann accidentally shoots himself

Oscar-nominated filmmaker Michael Mann, known for iconic films including Heat, Thief, Manhunter, Collateral, and The Insider, accidentally shot himself in the leg at a gun range in Los Angeles on Saturday. The 83-year-old was hospitalised after the incident. Mann's last directorial venture was the 2023 film Ferrari, starring Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz.
