Lemons sold for ₹2.36 lakh as devotees believe they cure infertility in Tamil Nadu

Nine lemons were sold for ₹2.36 lakh at an auction in a temple in Tamil Nadu. The devotees believe that consuming lemonade made from these lemons cures infertility and brings prosperity into families. One lemon is spiked on the deity's spear by priests on each day of the nine-day Panguni Uthiram festival.
