Lenskart charges DND users ₹3 to unsubscribe from spam SMSes

Delhi NCR-based Lenskart has been sending unwanted SMSes offering discounts and promotions to Do Not Disturb users and charging ₹3 to unsubscribe from the same. As per TRAI, it is illegal to send messages to people registered with the Do Not Call Registry, with a penalty of ₹25,000. Users have also reported receiving the messages despite sending the ₹3 SMS.
