Lenskart valued at $2.5 bn as it raises $220 mn in funding

Lenskart on Monday said it has raised $220 million in a funding round led by Temasek Holdings and Falcon Edge Capital. This takes the total capital raised by Lenskart in this round to $315 million with KKR investing $95 million through a secondary transaction. Lenskart, which was founded in 2008, is now valued at $2.5 billion, Co-founder Peyush Bansal said.
