Let ministers not think God will be waiting for them: Madras HC on VIP darshan

Madras HC has raised concerns over preferential treatment to VIPs in temples. "Let not ministers and MLAs think...they can walk into a temple at anytime and God will be waiting for them," HC orally remarked. Additional Advocate General P V Balasubramaniam submitted that such practice is being followed for decongesting queues and it also earns considerable income for temples.
