Levi Strauss & Co announced on Tuesday that it acquired a pair of jeans, believed to be the oldest pair manufactured for women. The pair of jeans, which belonged to a woman named Viola Longacre, is believed to be one of the earliest prototypes of women's jeans launched by Levi's in the 1930s.
