LG recalls around 52,000 smart TVs in US over tip-over risk

LG Electronics is recalling about 52,000 of its 86-inch smart televisions sold in the US following reports that they "can become unstable while on the assembled stand" and tip over, posing a risk of entrapment, injury or death. LG said it has received 22 reports of instability, including 12 tip-overs. There have been no injuries associated with the recalled TVs.
