Liberators broke jail door with hammer: US man released in Syria

American Travis Timmerman, who was released after spending seven months in a Syria jail, said that "liberators" broke the jail door with a hammer. He called his release a "blessing". He is among the thousands of people released from Syria's military prisons by rebels. Notably, ex-Syria President Bashar al-Assad fled the country after rebels toppled his government.
