Libra's promise of financial inclusion doesn't sound right: Mastercard CEO

Mastercard CEO revealed why the company backed out of Facebook's Libra cryptocurrency project, saying that it failed to address concerns about financial inclusion, adding it "doesn't sound right." He stated that he didn't "understand how it (the project) works" and its compliance with local laws. Other companies including eBay, Visa and Vodafone have also pulled out of the Libra Association.
