Libyan army chief dies in plane crash in Turkiye

Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad, the Libyan army's chief of staff, died in a plane crash on Tuesday after leaving Turkiye's capital Ankara. The aircraft suffered a technical malfunction and disappeared after 40 minutes from radar while attempting an emergency landing. Apart from al-Haddad, seven others including four high-ranking Libyan military officers died in the crash.
