LIC considers its 1st-ever bonus share issue, stock jumps 8%

LIC said the company's board of directors will meet on April 13 to consider a proposal for the issue of bonus shares. The shares of the company jumped on the announcement and rose nearly 8% in early trade. If approved, this will be the first-ever bonus share issue by LIC since the company listed on the stock exchanges in 2022.
