LIC, EPFO keen to set up fund for startups: DPIIT official

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) have expressed willingness to set up funds for startups, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade's (DPIIT) Additional Secretary Anil Agrawal said. It was decided that a portal will be developed by Small Industries Development Bank of India for funding purposes of startups, he added.
